To show just how much, we are thrilled to invite you to participate in our #SandsKissBliss Challenge for the chance to extend your next stay by one night on a future visit to The Sands at Grace Bay.  We will also be offering surprise prizes throughout the month – so post your “kiss” pictures taken at our resort property and also show them to our front desk staff if you are onsite to get extra surprises while supplies last!

Post your kiss photo using #SandsKissBliss to The Sands’ Instagram or Facebook pages for a chance to extend your next stay at The Sands at Grace Bay!  Here’s how it works:

To Enter, Follow These Three Simple Steps:

  1. Snap a kiss photo at our resort property
  2. Post it onto our Instagram (Instagram.com/thesandstc) or Facebook (Facebook.com/thesandsatgracebay) channel using the #SandsKissBliss hashtag
  3. “Follow” us on Instagram (and Facebook) to receive winner notification

The #SandsKissBliss contest is happening now through May 30th. When the contest ends, one #SandsKissBliss photo taken on our resort property will be randomly selected from either our resort’s Facebook or Instagram account as the winner.  Photos must include the hashtag #SandsKissBliss in their photo descriptions to be entered. Those who enter must “follow” our Facebook or Instagram pages, to receive the winner notification. One winner will receive a gift certificate to extend their stay by one night on a future visit to The Sands at Grace Bay that can be redeemed within one year from date of award.

Come Experience the New Turks Head Brewery Tour!

Turks Head Brewery has opened its doors to the public for a unique and fun beer tasting experience! Visitors get a birds-eye-view of the brewery’s facilities via the catwalk that spans the entire facility where it produces 4 varieties of beer and lager: Turk’s Head Lager, Turk’s Head Amber, Island Hopping Ale (IPA) and Turk’s Head Lite (a light lager — and occasionally some seasonal selections).

 

Expert tour guides offer their insight into the beer making process while you take-in the action…from brewing to bottling to packaging! Plus, included in the tour are a variety of beer samples to taste in the brewery’s tasting room. Hour-long tours run Monday through Friday at 11 am, 1pm and 3pm and are offered at $15 per person (make sure to call before to ensure availability). Group rates are available.

You can also shop for Turks Head merchandise and even purchase beer to go (reportedly the cheapest price for beer on Provo).

The brewery is in the Discovery Bay region of Providenciales situated in the TC Crystal Water Building. To get there driving from Grace Bay, take the first exit left on the First Caribbean Roundabout (the one after the large Do It Best building centre). Continue for 1000 feet (300m), and TC Crystal and the Turk’s Head Brewery will be on your left.

Just In Time For Valentine’s – February Events and Romance Packages

Just in time for Valentine’s Month, The Sands at Grace Bay presents its 2017 romance packages along with fun February events to enjoy!

February Events on Turks & Caicos

On February 6th from 8-10pm, the Chocolate Lover’s Showcase beckons with the sweetest of cocoa treats — all to benefit the Turks and Caicos Salvation Army. From desserts and drinks to pastries and other chocolate creations are yours for the tasting. Enjoy music and a silent auction to round out the event take is set to take place at our sister Hartling property, The Palms Turks and Caicos.

Just before Valentine’s Day on February 13th, get ready to revel in “Hopelessly Romantic” an evening of romantic songs by local artists at Stargazer Villa. Ticket price will include champagne cocktail, culinary delights by talented island chefs, music by local vocalists, and membership to Turks and Caicos Friends of the Arts (TCFAF).

Later in the week on February 18th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., it’s the 17th annual Valentine’s Day Cup Model Sailboat Races Festival on Bambarra beach on Middle Caicos promising a fun filled day on the beach including four model boat races, music, games and much more!

THE SANDS RESORT ENHANCEMENTS
Guests will experience the major focus of The Sands’ refresh throughout the resort’s 114 studio and suite guest rooms. Suites in varying sizes from 1,000 – 1,600 square feet, guest accommodations feature full kitchens with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, and private screened-in patios. Led by interior designer Rose Kelly of Inter Décor, updates as they are completed include new furnishings evoking a casual-modern style and inspired modern-abstract artwork showcasing coastal Caribbean colors. Further upgrades will feature custom-made patio furniture by Asmayda Furniture Group of Miami and a new luxury bedding collection designed by Atlantic Hospitality. These contemporary updates provide the top-rated resort with a fresh new look while maintaining the property’s sophisticated yet relaxed ambiance.

The extensive refresh enriches the resort with new patio furniture, drapes and sheers, sofa sleepers and arm chairs, bar stools, and new lighting in living room, dining room and kitchen areas of all suites and studios. Additionally, furniture hand-crafters were commissioned to update the property’s desks, tables, and dining room furnishings to complete the overall new look of the resort’s accommodations. The contest encourages guests to share fun and memorable selfie photos of their Turks & Caicos trip and stay at The Sands at Grace Bay, located on Grace Bay Beach – recently named the World’s #1 Beach by TripAdvisor’s 2016 Travelers’ Choice Awards.
