Award-Winning Strawberry Mojito Recipe from Turks & Caicos


This past year, our Hemingway’s Restaurant & Bar took home the biggest award of the 2013 Annual Turks & Caicos Conch Festival – and was named “Best in Show” and the Festival’s Grand Champion for its delicious Conch Empanadas.  The restaurant also received the 1st place title for the festival’s Annual Mojito Competition sponsored by Bacardi, where the island’s best bartenders competed by displaying their creative twists on this classic Cuban cocktail.

Here’s the delicious and award-winning Strawberry Mojito recipe, that is best enjoyed here on the Hemingway’s open-air deck overlooking the stunning ocean and Grace Bay Beach:

Wes’s Famous Strawberry Mojito Ingredients:

  • Fresh Mint and Lime
  • Splash of Strawberry juice
  • Splash of Sweet and Sour Mix
  • 1 1/2 shot of Bacardi Light

***Shake and top off with splash of club soda
