Sands Resort Team Wins More Awards

Last week the Turks and Caicos Hotel and Tourism Association held the 6th annual Star Awards 2013 right here in Providenciales. There seven nominees from The Sands team. To top things off, the Sands’ Delroy McIntosh and Mona Beeson took home the trophy for their respective categories!

Well done, Delroy and Mona, and thanks very much indeed to the nominees and the Sands team. There is a reason why our guests keep returning, and you all play a vital part in it.

The nominees proudly representing the Sands Resort:

This award goes to the smiling face that greets the visitor. The member of staff on the “frontline” or at the front desk who by his/her helpful actions and good deeds represents the hotel or resort, and ultimately, the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Hotelier of the Year – Mona Beeson
Recognizes excellence in hotel operations by demonstrating superior achievement in: Resort Operations, Food & Beverage, Marketing and Sales, Resort Maintenance, Staff Training and Motivation, Innovative Management, Environmental Practices, Community Affairs, and Involvement with National and Regional industry associations.
